NKANA Football club has signed pacey winger Lucky Bwalya from Young Buffaloes of Lusaka.
And Nkana management has graduated uder-20 defender Moses Nyondo from the academy to the senior team where he has signed a five-year long term contract at the club.
Nkana chief executive officer Ken Mwansa confirmed the development in an interview, saying Bwalya had signed a four-year contract at the club after satisfying coach Zeddy Saileti during the four weeks trial period spent at Nkana stadium.
Bwalya has been a revelation in Nkana’s pre-season preparations where he scored goals during friendly games.
“He is now a Nkana player; he has signed a contract of four years. He has impressed the coach, he is really a good player. We were thinking he could be an understudy for a season but don’t be surprised if you see him playing soon because the coach says he is adapting quickly. He is definitely going to add value to the team,” he said.
On Nyondo, Mwansa said the teenage defender who played in Nkana’s pre-season friendly against Kalulushi Modern Stars agreed to sign a long term contract that will keep him at Nkana until 2021.
Nyondo has played every minute in all games on the way to lift the CAF Under-20 AfCON trophy two weeks ago.
