LUSAKA Dynamos will be looking to make amends from last week’s flop against Power Dynamos when they face Nkwazi this afternoon in the FAZ/MTN week two fixtures.
The economically revamped Dynamos last Saturday blew away a 2-0 first half lead over Power Dynamos to draw 3-3 in the opening match at the national Heroes stadium in Lusaka.
The big spenders, who have assembled perhaps the most expensive squad, have set their sights on this year’s title and could jump-start their ambitions with victory over unpredictable opponents at Imboela stadium today.
In Chililabombwe, Konkola Blades start their campaign after the opening game with Zesco United was postponed last week against Green Buffaloes.
Blades were relegated the previous season but managed to win promotion back to the Super League though the team still struggled to attract the best players due to budgetary constraints.
Honour Janza’s Red Arrows would also be looking to collect maximum points after drawing the first game against champions Zanaco when they host Beston Chambeshi’s Lumwana Radiants.
Lumwana beat Forest Rangers 2-0 on the opening day and would be hoping for maximum points that would send them to the top of the table as early pacesetters.
In the last game of the day, Green Eagles who beat City of Lusaka on opening day host Zanaco, hoping to get probably the best result by beating the champions at their home in Choma.
Playing tomorrow will be Real Nakonde against forest Rangers and Buildcon versus Kabwe Warriors in a double-header in Ndola while Power Dynamos host NAPSA Stars.
