Freedom fighter Salome Chilufya Kapwepwe has died.
Mama Salome, the wife to freedom fighter Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe, died in her sleep this morning.
Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe (April 12, 1922 – January 26, 1980) was the vice-president of Zambia from 1967 to 1970.
