BESTON Chambeshi’s return to coach Nkana coincides with a fixture he has always cherished – the Kitwe derby against Power Dynamos as the MTN/FAZ Super League enters Week 12 this afternoon.

Throughout his stay at Nkana two years ago, Chambeshi had been Power’s tormentor team coach in the five meetings when Tenant Chilumba was coach at Arthur Davies stadium and will be hoping his dominance continues although he would meet a totally different proposition on the opposite bench, Dan Kabwe.

We are going to Nkana. They lost [but] it’s a very difficult game. The players know each other, but we will be ready for the game. It’s a game that both teams want to win,

said Kabwe.

Chambeshi on the other hand says it is too early to give a pre-match interview since he only replaced Zeddy Saileti two days ago but promised to talk after the match.

Whichever way one looks at it, this is the country’s biggest derby that leaves the city of Kitwe divided and rival fans taunting one another long after the match depending on who wins the bragging rights.

The other big game of the weekend involves Mufulira Wanderers versus Red Arrows while the game between league leaders Lusaka Dynamos and Zesco United has been postponed.

Second placed NAPSA Stars travel to Choma to face Green Eagles. Green Buffaloes host rejuvenated Kabwe Warriors, hoping to recover from the midweek loss to Zanaco while the ‘bankers’ game against Lumwana Radiants has been postponed.

In other games, City of Lusaka host Real Nakonde tomorrow with a double header at Konkola Stadium involving Nchanga Rangers against Nkwazi and Konkola Blades versus Forest Rangers also scheduled for tomorrow.
