C/belt PF youths pledge support for expelled Kambwili, Musenge

WE won’t allow the party we love to die and be taken over by hijackers, says suspended PF Luanshya Constituency youth chairman Charles Kazembe.

Kazembe said youths in Luanshya, Kitwe, Ndola, Kalulushi, Mpongwe, Chingola and Masaiti were  standing with expelled Chishimba Kambwili and Mwenya Musenge.

The PF central committee chaired by President Edgar Lungu on Saturday expelled Kambwili, the Roan member of parliament and Musenge, a former  Chimwemwe legislator and Copperbelt minister from the party for allegedly destabilising the ruling party.

In an interview after meeting with PF youths, Kazembe said the party would not die.
He said the youth were ready to defend the vision of party founder Michael Sata.

We are just from having our meeting and we have resolved to defend the party and the two senior party founding members. We fought for PF and we will fight for this party. We won’t allow the party to die out and be taken over by hijackers,

Kazembe said.

If it means we will be arrested for defending the party, let it be so. The levels of dictatorship are so alarming. We can’t have a party of bootlickers. We will defend the vision of Michael Sata.

He said PF members should not be afraid to go for elections.
Kazembe said dictators in PF would not be allowed to kill the party.
“Why are people afraid of elections? This is the problem we have in PF today. We won’t allow this issue of sole candidacy. We need to elect new leaders in the party. Besides, why talk about sole 2021 candidates when we have not delivered to the people of Zambia?”  asked Kazembe.

” We have vowed to stand with honourable Kambwili and ba Musenge. These are the pillars of the PF. If they speak, it does not mean they are attacking the party. PF needs people who can speak and not bootlickers.”
