ZAMBIA has qualified to the final of the 2017 Under 17 edition of the COSAFA Castle Cup Championship being hosted by Mauritius.

An early goal from Martin Njobvu in the fourth minute of the game played today put Zambia ahead of a seemingly tough and composed Malawi who were looking for nothing but a win as well.

Another goal in the seventh minute tactfully delivered by Lameck Banda put Zambia in the comfortable lead.

The junior Chipolopolo managed to hold back the ‘fire breathing’ Malawians who were equally eager to find the back of the net.

The Mumamba Numba-led team will face the winner between South Africa and Mauritius in the final on Sunday at the Francois Xavier Stadium at 15 hours local time.
