FORMER US president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have invited local musician Brian Bwembya, popularly known as B-Flow, to the launch of their foundation in Chicago.
B-Flow posted on his Facebook page announcing his invitation by the former US first family.
“44th President of the United States Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have launched The Obama Foundation in their hometown of Chicago and have invited me, yes B-Flow,” the celebrated local vocalist excitedly posted on his page.
He stated that he was excited with the invitation for the occasion set for Chicago, saying it symbolised the strength of their partnership, which started while Obama was in the White House.
“I’m thrilled to announce that Mr and Mrs Obama have invited me to Chicago! I thank God that since 2015, our partnership has grown and the Obamas are still supporting my work in various ways,” stated B-Flow. “During my time in Chicago, I will attend the first ever #ObamaSummit. I’m always happy to represent the African continent on a global scale.”
