Pilato asks Zambians to protest against abuse of public funds

MUSICIAN Chama Fumba, aka Pilato, has written the police to notify them of a planned protest at parliament against abuse of public resources.

The controversial singer who recently declared his support for the PF and President Edgar Lungu so that he could “properly speak for the people” stated that the protest would be held on September 29.

He stated that the march was an opportunity for every well meaning Zambian to stand and speak out.

“Every working Zambian must say no to abuse of their taxes. Friday next week on 29th September, we march to Parliament. Dress code: Red, Green, Black and Orange,”

stated Pilato.

Laura Miti’s Alliance for Community Action has also notified police of its intention to hold a peaceful protest on September 29 at Parliament against the government’s purchase of 42 fire tenders at a cost of $42 million.
