ZAMBIA’S High Commissioner to South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba has expressed happiness that the country has sent a strong delegation to this year’s Southern African Local Authorities and Municipal Council sports tournament being held in Middleburg.
High Commissioner Mwamba said relations among countries were truly enhanced through people-to-people interactions as promoted by this sports festival among regional local authorities.
Zambia is being represented by Lusaka and Kitwe in the City Council category while Kabwe, Chililabombwe and Kalulushi are representing the country in the Municipality category.
The prestigious annual tournament, which began on Sunday, has drawn participation from over 12 countries.
