To achieve the feat and qualify to Mauritius, he will depend on the likes of pacey Terry Kaushiku, Nigel Chibwe, Fine Chikumbe and Birthlock Sikaona whose pace can mean a lot of trouble for the Algerians.
Chishimba’s final team going into this match consist of players such as Thadious Chipoya, Brian Mbalwe, Melvin Banda, Terry Kayamba, Lastone Mukosa, Enoch Mutembo, Kafula Chishimba, Chalwe Chaonza, Patrick Lungu, Fernd Kashimoto, Ali Bhika, Emmanuel Daka, Israel Kalumba, Jubilee Chisenga, Mutinta Malambo, Terry Kayamba and Bwalya Bwalya who among the best in the Zambia rugby league.
“Algeria has a lot of professionals who play in France, they are experienced but we will play a tactical, passing game and we will avoid body contact at all costs because they are very physical,” said Chishimba.
His opposite number, Algeria coach Allam Boumeddiene has a lot of respect for Zambia despite his team having so much experience.
“Zambia has good players, we watched their game in Uganda and we saw a very good team of Zambia. We are very proud to be here. We know there is a big manifestation in Zambia. For us we have to be emotionally strong, we have a lot of respect, we can’t say we are scared. We are here to play rugby and give pleasure to the fans,” said Boudiemmene whose team is playing in this final round without playing the ball in the last two rounds because opponents Nigeria and Cameroon failed to travel for their respective matches
