THREE people have died from cholera in Lusaka district in the last 24 hours.
This follows a new cholera outbreak in which six new cases have been recorded in Lusaka, bringing the total number to 206 since the outbreak in October.
Speaking at media briefing in Lusaka today, Ministry of Health spokesperson Dr Maximillian Bweupe said two of the three people who have died are from Chipata compound while one is from Kanyama compound.
And Dr Bweupe disclosed that since the outbreak of the disease, Kanyama has recorded 104 cases with Chipata compound recording 90. – Phoenix
