Bowman Lusambo’s confession that he is President Lungu’s bootlicker number one is a sad development. If I was the President I would fire him instantly as he does not add value to governance.
However, Bowman was responding to the demands of the current political leadership; blind loyalty for self-preservation. What Zambia needs is a political leadership whose objective of governance is to deliver development and quality service to the electorate. Inevitably, this demands for ministers with the right mind-set, competencies, professionalism and objectivity and not zombies. Ministers should owe allegiance to the electorate as opposed to an individual mortal human being.
