Daka carries Zambian hopes in Accra

FAZ president Andrew Kamanga and CAF Young Player of the Year nominee Patson Daka are headed to Accra Ghana for the Aiteo CAF Awards 2017.

Daka will be flying the Zambian flag high having made the shortlist for the top three and will be competing against Krepin Diatta (Senegal & Sarpsborg) AND Salam Giddou (Mali & Guidars).

Clifford Mulenga was the last Zambian to win the CAF Young Player of the Year award in 2007.

The Awards Gala that will see the decoration of players, officials and administrators for their achievement in 2017 is scheduled for Thursday January 4 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
