ZANACO coach Mumamba Numba says he will push his charges to keep on winning each game and vie for the Super League trophy.
Speaking shortly after his team beat Choma outfit Choma Eagles in a week two encounter at Sunset Stadium on Monday, Numba said the win was a motivation to his team having recorded a trek of loses.
“A win is a motivation to the team especially that we lost three games in a row in the past indictment. This is a motivation to the team. We have started the season on a good note, we just have to keep on encouraging the team so that we keep on working hard so that we try to push and challenge for the cup,” Numba said.
“The players are improving with each game, we just have to work hard both the players and the technical bench so that the team can continue winning.”
And Green Eagles coach George Chilufya said he had shifted his attention from the game and was hoping he records a positive result in the next encounter.
He stressed that his team got punished for carelessness.
“Football is just like this, when you don’t take care of yourselves especially when it matters the most you end up losing. We won last week today we conceded two [and] we lost. We are going back to prepare for our next game against Napsa, that’s it,” said Chilufya.
“We lost a bit of concentration [but] overall the performance was okay the boys did their best, we just hope for the better in our next game.
