Napsa appoints Chikwanda new head coach

NAPSA Stars Football Club has appointed Elijah Chikwanda as its new head coach.

Napsa on Monday announced that it had ‘sidelined’ its head coach Linos Makwaza, first assistant Dabtwitso Nkhoma and third assistant coach Harry Milanzi until further notice.

This was in view of the team’s poor performance, which has seen it pick up one point out of a possible fifteen.

Club media and public relations officer Gwen Chipasula stated yesterday that Chikwanda brings a wealth of experience to the club having had coaching stints in Botswana and also coached Lusaka Dynamos, Nkwazi and Kabwe warriors Football clubs respectively.

She stated that Napsa Stars believes Chikwanda is the right person to steer the team out of its current position. Chipasula stated that he has been signed on a performance based contract.
