POLICE officers this evening arrested Chama Fumba upon his arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport from South Africa.
Fumba, commonly known as Pilato, had fled the country due to death threats from ruling Patriotic Front supporters and operatives over his hit song, Koswe mu mpoto.
Police arrested Pilato just after his arrival around 15:00 hours.
Human rights activist Laura Miti, who was at KKIA to welcome Pilato, confirmed his arrest.
She, however, said she was still not aware where the controversial poet and singer was taken.
