NKANA will be looking to recover from last week’s loss to leaders Green Buffaloes when they face Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy at Godfrey ‘Ucar’ Chitalu Stadium in Kabwe.
And Zesco United return to local league action to battle for top spot against Buffaloes. Nkana missed an opportunity to take command of the league standings after losing at home to the ‘soldiers’ during week 11 games last week and will be battling to return to second position if they win comfortably in Kabwe.
Coach Beston Chambeshi said after the loss to Buffaloes that his side needs to quickly pick up against the newly promoted side.
“It’s always disappointing to be dropping points like this at home. But we have to recover and win in Kabwe against Kabwe Youth,” he said.
Nkana will have to improve their defending that cost them against Buffaloes if they are to maintain momentum. And Zesco will be looking to retain top position after Buffaloes took over in their absence when they were on continental duty in Tunisia where they lost 2-1 in the CAF Champions’ League group stages against Etoile du Sahel.
Third placed Power Dynamos will be looking to maintain good form when they face resurgent NAPSA Stars with the former aiming for only the second win of the season.
