NKANA and Zesco United will be looking to recover from their respective weekend setbacks when they play rescheduled fixtures against Zanaco and Monze Swallows respectively. Nkana host Zanaco in a rescheduled MTN/FAZ Super League week 10 match on the back of a surprise 2-all draw against lowly placed Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy.
And Zesco, straight from being humbled 2-0 by league leaders Green Buffaloes, will be looking to get their campaign back on track when they visit bottom placed New Monze Swallows. Zanaco have recovered from a poor run, picking up points in recent matches and a win today would be a huge boost to the bankers’ title aspirations.
It will be a battle for supremacy as the two teams have the same number of points at 20 but Nkana have a better goal difference.
Moreover, both teams will be looking to maximise on the availability of their key players who will be missing the next two to three fixtures as they will be away with Chipolopolo in the COSAFA tournament that starts next weekend.
“We have to win the next game. We are winning,” Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi declared after the draw in Kabwe.
In Monze, second placed Zesco on 22 points will be looking to overcome Swallows who are still looking for their first victory since winning promotion to the Super League.
