Honouring Zambia’s heroes

Dear editor,

Allow me to express my views on honoring Zambian heroes as we approach independence day. October 24 is Zambia’s independence day; a day we celebrate the independence of our country and those who sacrificed their lives. It is also a day we celebrate lives of those who have contributed greatly in our great nation.

Today, i want to particularly focus on the first Zambian judge in 1969, justice G.B Muwo, who has not been honoured to this day.

This brings me to the question: what is the criteria for honoring Zambian heroes?
