Zambezi records 24mm in first rains

ZAMBEZI on Tuesday recorded Zambia’s highest initial rainfall at 24 millimetres followed by Kalabo with 13mm, says the Zambia Meteorological Department. According to the ZMD weather forecast, most parts of the country were being affected by moist and unstable airflow from north-west known as the Congo air.
“Reported rainfall in millimetres (mm) at 08:00 hours on Tuesday, Zambezi, 24, Kalabo, 13, Kawambwa, five, Mongu, Kaoma, Livingstone, Choma, and Chipepo had less than a millimetre (trace),” stated the ZMD. As for today’s forecast the ZMD stated that the cloudy weather conditions would prevail over most parts of Zambia.
