Mwape nominated for women coach of the year award

SHEPOLOPOLO coach Bruce Mwape has been nominated for the 2018 African top coach of the year award for the female team.
According to the nominee list released on Friday, Mwape is the only Zambian sports personality to make the list of nominees for various awards.
Her nomination is in spite of not having had a productive 2018 as her team has not won any trophy this year.
Headlined women’s coach of the year award, Mwape is up against Desiree Ellis of South Africa, Joseph Brian Ndoko of Cameroon, Saloum Houssein of Mali and Thomas Dennerby of Nigeria.
And former Chipolopolo coach and two times AfCON winning coach Herve Renard has been listed for the award of the coach of the year award for the men’s team. Renard is now Morocco national team coach.
Other awards that have been lined include the African player of the year, female African player of the year, youth player of the year, men’s national team of the year and the women’s national team of the year.
