THE Zambia Meteorological Department forecasts that most parts of Zambia expect rainfall activities today [Wednesday].
And the ZMD says Gwembe and Sesheke experienced the highest temperatures on Monday.
According to a weather forecast, the ZMD stated that generally moist and unstable airflow from the North west (Congo air) is affecting most parts of the country except the extreme southern parts of the country, which are under the influence of relatively dry and stable airflow from the south-east.
“Rainfall activities are expected tomorrow [Wednesday] over most parts of Zambia,” the ZMD revealed.
On temperatures, the ZMD stated that in Choma, Mfuwe and Lusaka were expected to be 38, 37 and 32 Degrees Celsius, respectively.
As for rainfall activities recorded on Monday, the ZMD revealed that Kawambwa and Isoka recorded 8 and 5 millimetres respectively.
Kasama, Misamfu, Mpika and Mongu all had less than a millimetre.
