Zanaco defence worries Numba

ZANACO coach Mumamba Numba says his technical team needs to work on the club’s defence after his team suffered a 1-3 defeat at the hands of Lusaka Dynamos. The result saw Zanaco being dislodged from the summit of the provisional Super League Stream A by Kabwe Warriors who in total have 21 points, one better than Zanaco. In post-match briefing, after his team suffered their second consecutive loss and a third in the past six games, Numba said he was disappointed that his team had been beaten.

“It is a disappointing result considering the fact that our aspirations are so high this year. We have to win the league. I can confirm that we have learnt some lessons from this game which we have lost, which is a worry on our part. I think we need to work on our defending,” said Numba.

Zanaco now sit second on the log with six wins, three loses and two draws while Buildcon FC remains in command of the other stream with 20 points plus a game in hand against Nkana.
