I WILL not mention his name (Chishimba Kambwili) pantu ndofwa umuselu (because have nausea), says President Edgar Lungu. And President Lungu says he changed Chawama when he served as member of parliament. President Lungu said this when he addresses a public rally in Maposa area of Roan Constituency yesterday.
“When I came to Roan, I was advised not to mention some names. I feel umuselu (have nausea) to mention his name. I have come to discover that this area is neglected. But it is good that when God wants to expose people, He makes them a bit mad,” President Lungu said.
“Please, forgive us for the people we had. I said this even in Bahati yesterday. We did not know what is the situation here. One person used to tell us lies that things are okay in Roan but I have seen for my self. From 2006 to 2011, is there a clinic? Is there a school? The only thing they want is to grab land, try to get your bed and everything.”
He said Roan had been neglected for a long time. President Lungu said he worked very hard when he was member of parliament for Chawama.
“We will create ka mini hospital here. A school is coming here in Maposa. I promise you that we will bring a mini hospital here. I’m the only one who can bring the hospital here. I was MP in Chawama, things changed. When I was minister, I was truthful and worked hard and changed Chawama,” he said.
President Lungu said he hoped he had not insulted after he finished addressing the rally. The Head of State then proceeded for another public rally in Mpatamato in Roan.
