THE Football Association of Zambia says all FAZ teams must adhere to registration regulations and guidelines for them to be successfully included in the league fixture calendar for the 2019 – 2020 season. Communications manager Mwazi Chanda said the 90-day player transfer window will close on August 31 and that the registration of clubs for the 2019/20 Season is underway. She said the 2019/20 season is set to commence in August 2019 following the successful implementation of the transitional league.
Chanda said the current Super Division and Division One promotion play offs have not affected the player transfer window.
“The player transfer window opened on June 1, 2019 and is scheduled to close on August 31, 2019. Clubs are advised that regardless of the on-going Super Division and National division matches, player transfers can be conducted. The Football Association of Zambia also takes note that transfer of players both locally and internationally have already commenced and we wish to caution intermediaries and players to comply to the rules and regulations,” said Chanda.
“The 2019/20 Registration charges were communicated to club administrators as well as league levies that now include National Division 1. Levies for Super division, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 and the Women’s league remain unchanged. All FAZ league teams must adhere to registration regulations and guidelines for them to be successfully included in the league fixture calendar for the 2019 – 2020 season.”
