STAND-IN national team head coach Aggrey Chiyangi has called up 24 players to camp ahead of the CHAN 2020 qualifier against eSwatini.
Chiyangi, who is also Green Eagles FC coach, has called up additional players to beef up the team ahead of the September 20 match.
Local based players called up to camp include Akakulubelwa Mwachiyaba (Kabwe Warriors) and Nchimunya Munene (Mufulira Wanderers FC).
Players from Zanaco FC, Zesco United and Green Eagles FC have been excused from this week’s camp due to their club participation in CAF games.
Assistant coach Osward Mutapa was found taking the players through their paces at Barca Academy in Lusaka yesterday morning.
Those in camp include goalkeepers Lawrence Mulenga (Power Dynamos), Sebastian Mwange (Green Eagles FC) and Allan Chibwe (Nkana FC).
Gift Zulu (Nkana FC), Benedict Chepeshi (Red Arrows FC), Laison Thole (Nkana FC), Isaac Shamujompa (Buildcon FC) and Luka Banda (Napsa Stars FC).
Benson Sakala (Power Dynamos FC) and Larry Bwalya (Power Dynamos FC), Webster Muzaza (Forest Rangers FC), George Simbayambaya (Red Arrows FC), Youremember Banda (Green Buffaloes FC), Kelvin Kampamba (Nkana FC), Paul Katema (Red Arrows FC), Amity Shamende (Green Eagles FC) and Bruce Musakanya (Red Arrows FC).
Emmanuel Chabula (Nkwazi FC), Akakulubelwa Mwachiyaba (Kabwe Warriors FC), Tapson Kaseba (Green Eagles FC) and Twiza Chaibela (Kabwe Warriors FC). Zambia will be away to eSwatini on September 20 for the final qualifying round for Cameroon 2020 CHAN.
