GOMES FC assistant coach Dabwitso Nkhoma says his team is targeting to enter the Super League come next season.
Nkhoma, whose team today takes on Kitwe United FC in a week 3 Eden National Division One League tie, said the team was taking one game at a time.
“We are playing Kitwe United FC. It’s too early to predict a lot but we will keep concentrating game by game. This is our third game and we haven’t lost so far. We will be at home and we hope to maintain the tempo,” he said.
Nkhoma said the paramount intention for his team was to win promotion.
“Our target at all costs is that we have to be promoted into the super division, and that is our first target,” he said.
In the next encounter, Gomes will be facing FC MUZA, which Nkhoma presided over in the 2018 season and qualified them into Super League before they again capsized in the provisional league.
