UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema says if all Zambians put their heads together, the course of the country can be changed to improve citizens’ livelihoods.
He reiterated that life was unbearable for majority Zambia.
The opposition leader wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday that he donated 100 bags of mealie-meal to the old and less-privileged identified at St Joseph Lwanga Catholic Church in Chipulukusu, Ndola.
“We attended Church at St Charles Lwanga Catholic Church in Ndola’s Chipulukusu area this morning. During his homily, the parish priest stated that things are bad in the country,” Hichilema wrote.
“We agree with him that life is unbearable for the majority of our citizens but if all our people put their heads together, we can change the course of this country and improve our livelihoods. We also donated 100 bags of mealie-meal to the old and less privileged identified through the Church.”
He added that it was with Hope and Help (HH) na lesa pa ntashi (with God in front).
“Peace, unity, true reconciliation and genuine development will dock in our country soon. May God bless our country,” stated Hichilema.
