NEWLY appointed Power Dynamos coach Perry Mutapa says he is aware of the challenge ahead of him and accepts the task given by the club.
Mutapa, who joined the club along side his assistance Masautso Tembo, said they have received the challenge from the Legendary Dynamos with both hands.
“We have accepted this challenge with both hands. We feel this is a legendary team, we grew up watching the team and the most important thing is to work together and obviously work hard. The infrastructure is there and the team is there,” he said.
He said the team’s current eighth position on the league table is not where it should be.
“But with a lot of hard work, I believe we can turn the tables and obviously it won’t be easy and going forward we need to change things,” he said.
“We are coaches who demand a lot, shout a lot and whatever we say it’s just to push you guys because what we believe is that in life or in football, you have to be pushed it’s not just talking for the sake of talking, we want the best.”
Mutapa and his assistant, Tembo, resigned from Forest Rangers on Monday, November 25, leaving many to question if anything had gone wrong.
However, the duo was latter unveiled at relegation threatened side 24 hours after leaving Forest Rangers.
