A DAY after being fired by Kabwe Warriors, Tenant Chilumba on Tuesday morning walked the corridors of ZAFFICO who confined him Forest Rangers coach.

According to a press statement made available to The Mast, the Dolla Hill side has given Tenant a two-year contract.

“We are please to announce the appointment of Tenant Chilumba as our head coach on two years contract. Tenant has massive experience coaching teams in the Zambian Premier League. We believe he will bring renewed energy and belief to the team as well as help the club achieve its objectives this season,” reads the statement.

The coaching position became vacant last week when former head coach Perry Mutapa and his long time assistant coach Masautso Tembo resigned to join Power Dynamos.

Chilumba’s first task will come on December 15 when Forest host in-form Green Buffaloes.

The Ndola side is currently 6th on the log with 18 points.
