POWER Dynamos Football Club CEO Happie Mukondya says they have not received any formal communication from Forest Rangers demanding K350,000 from Perry Mutapa and Masautso Tembo.

Mukondya however, said the club is worried with what is circulating in the media and will seat with the two coaches.

“We have not received any formal communication from Forest Rangers that they are demanding K350,000 from the two coaches. Moreover, we got the two coaches a day after they resigned and we are not aware of the details that were in their contracts (with Forest Rangers). We dealt with their agents,” he said. “It does worry us seeing such issues circulating but we are yet to seat down with the coaches to find out what is at hand. Those are contractual issues that can worry them, so will seat with them, get to the matter.”

Forest Rangers are demanding K350,000 to release Perry Mutapa and Masautso Tembo to Power Dynamos.

The K350,000 is in the duo’s contracts as an amount to be paid if they wanted to leave the club. Forest is asking Perry to K200,000 while Masautso to pay K150,000.

The Ndola-based Club had accepted the coaches’ resignations a before the duo joined Power Dynamos.
