NKANA Football Club face champions Zesco United at Nkana Stadium today at 15:00 hours in the much anticipated rescheduled week 11 match of the 2019/20 MTN/FAZ Super League.

Zesco will be hoping to continue its dominance over Nkana of the past 12 years having beaten Kalampa 10 times and losing only twice from the previous 18 league meetings with six draws between the two giants.

With the Wusakile boys toiling to a scoreless draw against Green Eagles in their last fixture, Nkana will hope to get an edge of Zesco to push for a spot in the top four and have a chance to play in the ABSA tournament.

Zesco, who lost 2-1 at home to TP Mazembe in the CAF Champions League last week after dropping two points against Green Eagles, will be looking to extend the lead at the top.

The Ndola-based team sits top of the table with 28 points, while Nkana are down to fifth with 21 points.

Other fixtures will be at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium where ‘Magnificent’ Kabwe Warriors will lock horns with second on the table NAPSA Stars as the pensioners’ push for CAF slot continues.

The Muhammad Fathi drilled side head to Kabwe knowing three points will be enough to maintain second slot. Red Arrows share same number of points (25 points) but Napsa have a very good goal difference compared to Zambia Air Force sponsored outfit.

Before this game at the same venue, Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy will square off with Kansanshi Dynamos in the 13:00hours kick-off.

Numba Mumamba’s Zanaco will be away to Lumwana Radiants in a week 10 fuxture hoping to get back to winning ways.

League fixtures continue on Sunday with
Forest Rangers vs Green Buffaloes at 13:00 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium and the  Buildcon vs Mufulira Wanderers game at the same venue is scheduled for 15:00 hours.
