COPPER Queens coach Bruce Mwape has summoned 27 players for camp ahead of preparations for the rescheduled Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Skipper Barbara Banda leads a number of familiar names in the squad, with the majority of those that played a role in qualifying the country to the global showpiece for the first time in the country’s history making it.
The Olympics is expected run between July 24 and August 9, 2021.
But sporting action kicks off two days before the opening ceremony with preliminary women’s football matches set to light up the occasion for various sports disciplines.
