MANDEVU Constituency PF aspiring member of parliament Amon Maviya has applauded the ruling party for its intraparty democracy.
He says ongoing adoption process in the Patriotic Front has shown that democracy in the ruling party has matured.
“To this effect, I thank President Edgar Chagwa Lungu, the party secretary general, members of the central committee and all leaders in the structures for ably managing the intraparty democracy evidenced throughout the elective general conferences across the country and the ongoing adoption process,” told The Mast in an interview.
Maviya said there is competition among candidates that are aspiring for Mandevu Constituency.
“The race in Mandevu is highly competitive and I wish every other candidate well in their quest to serve the people of Mandevu efficiently. Let me also encourage all aspiring members of parliament in Lusaka to continue extending love to one another and reflect on God’s love for humankind during this Easter period,” said Maviya. “All we got to do is follow Christ, for in Christ will all our queries be solved. I wish a blessed and meaningful Easter to all PF members and encourage you to be thankful because Jesus gave us new life.”
